Chris Ward
M.D., Ph.D.
Chris Ward, M.D., Ph.D., is a clinical hematologist based at Royal North Shore hospital with an academic appointment in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sydney in Australia. Ward is the lead investigator at RNS for clinical trials of new anticoagulants and therapies for thrombocytopenia. He is the Director of Research for the Department of Haematology and Transfusion Medicine. He currently serves on the ISTH Council as Chair of the Education and Outreach Core Committee, and he also served as Vice President and Clinical Chair of the ISTH 2019 Congress in Melbourne, Australia.

Guy Young, M.D., is the Director of the Hemostasis and Thrombosis Program at Children's Hospital Los Angeles as well as a Professor of Pediatrics at the Keck School of Medicine of USC.
Young currently serves as the Chair of the Live Courses Subcommittee of the ISTH Education Committee. He is a past chair of the ISTH SSC Subcommittee on Factor VIII, Factor IX and Rare Bleeding Disorders. He was awarded the National Hemophilia Foundation Physician of the Year Award in 2013.
