In Person vs Virtual Only Registration

The ISTH 2022 Congress will take place in a Hybrid format both in-Person at the ExCeL London in London, United Kingdom and virtually via the ISTH Virtual Congress site. The registration options available include both in-person and virtual only options.

Please see a list and description of each Registration option below:

• In- Person Registration includes:​

  • Access to Education and Scientific Sessions

  • Access to Exhibit Hall

  • Access to Supported Symposia and Presentation Theaters

  • Access to Poster Sessions and Poster Session Networking

  • Access to Opening Ceremony and Opening Reception

  • Lunch on July 10th,11th,12th

  • Coffee Breaks on each day of the Congress

  • Access to the virtual components of the Congress, both live and for 60 days following the Congress

• In Person Registration does not include:

  • Access to the ISTH 2022 Networking Evening* - Additional £50.00 charge

  • Access to CME Credits – Additional £25.00 charge

*The ISTH 2022 Networking Evening will take place separately from the ISTH 2022 Congress. This event provides an opportunity for attendees to network with colleagues and is only open to ISTH 2022 Congress attendees. Further details on the Networking Evening will be available in early 2022.

• Virtual Registration Live +14: Includes full access to the virtual components of the Congress, both live and for 14 days following the Congress. Full program details for the virtual components will be provided soon. 

• Virtual Registration Live +60: Includes full access to the virtual components of the Congress, both live and for 60 days following the Congress. Full program details for the virtual components will be provided soon.

Registration Deadlines for ISTH 2022

• Early Registration Deadline: April 7, 2022

• On-Site Registrations Begin: July 5, 2022

• Cancellation Deadline: June 9, 2022

Access to Virtual Congress Site

All registrants will receive an e-mail with access details for the Virtual Congress in July 2022. All registrants must register with a unique e-mail address to allow access to the site.

​

Cancellations

Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to the ISTH Registration Department by email. The notification must include all the relevant information regarding the bank account to which a possible refund may be remitted. For cancellations received before Thursday, June 9, 2022 deposits will be refunded less £50.00 GBP for administrative costs for the In-Person Congress and £20.00 GBP for the Virtual Congress. After this date, no refunds will be possible.  The same applies for cancellation of additional sessions and orders (e.g., Master Classes, ISTH 2022 Networking Evening, etc.). Credit will not be given for unattended events or early termination of attendance

 

Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credits

There is a £25 GBP fee for a CME Certificate. This is only for those wishing to collect Continuing Medication (CME) credits. The congress will be seeking accreditation through EACCME. In addition to the £25 GBP fee, you must complete an evaluation of the sessions attended as a requirement by EACCME by August 31, 2022.

Data Privacy

​The acquisition, handling (which includes saving data, changes, transmission, blocking and erasing) and utilization of all personal registration data is executed within the guidelines of the effective data protection regulations.  Please see the ISTH privacy policy, for additional information.

Dietary Requirements

​You will be asked for your individual dietary requirements during the registration process.  The organizer cannot guarantee that all allergies can be considered and the responsibility remains with the delegate.

 

Group Registration

There are two types of group registration. One group manager must be designated as the point of contact.

​

Small Group registration – for groups of 2-9. They would log into the registration site and at the top of the contact page is a link to register small groups. Required registration details for each attendee must be completed and payment made before registration can be submitted. Each registrant must be registered with a unique e-mail address.

​

Large Group registration – for groups of 10 and over. They should email registration@isth.org to be sent the appropriate link.

Insurance and Liability

​It is recommended that participants obtain adequate cover for travel, health and accident insurance before they depart from their countries. ISTH as organizers cannot accept responsibility for personal injuries, or loss of, or damage to private property belonging to the congress participants and accompanying persons.

 

ISTH Membership

Method of Payment

The full payment of your registration is requested when registering. No confirmation will be sent until ISTH has received the payment.

Payment should be made in £ GBP only, using one of the following methods

Credit card payments are processed in the United States and may be flagged as an international transaction by your credit card company resulting in a declined transaction.  It is recommended that you authorize the payment in advance with your credit card company before starting the online registration process. 

​Checks will not be accepted.
 

Name Change

A handling fee of £50.00 GBP will be charged for every name change to an existing in-Person Congress registration. A handling fee of £20.00 GBP will be charged for every name change to an existing virtual only Congress registration. A new registration form for the substitute attendee should be submitted, as well as a proof for the reduced fee if applicable.

 

Networking Evening

The ISTH 2022 Networking Evening is scheduled to take place during the Congress. Details will be available soon.

 

Registration Confirmation

​A confirmation of registration and payment status will be sent to the individual or company that requests registration. Confirmation will be sent only when the corresponding payment is received.

 

Registration for Presenters of Accepted Abstract

The early registration deadline is before abstract presenters will be mailed their letters of acceptance. If you are an accepted abstract presenter, you will qualify to register at the early registration fee. Instructions on how to receive this rate will be provided in the abstract notification letter. The early registration rate will only be for the presenting author.

 

Visas

​It is the sole responsibility of the attendee to take care of his/her visa requirements. Attendees who require an entry visa must allow sufficient time for the application procedure. Attendees should contact the nearest embassy or consulate to determine the appropriate timing of their visa applications. The organizers will not directly contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants.

The registration fee minus a handling fee £50.00 GBP will be refunded after the conference if the visa was applied for in time, and an official proof of the embassy confirming that a visa could not be granted, is forwarded to the ISTH Registration Department.

What are the Covid-19 protocols for ISTH 2022

The ISTH is continually evaluating the state of the COVID-19 pandemic, and updating our safety and security protocols as needed. To ensure the safety of all attendees, proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required for in-person registrants attending the ISTH 2022 Congress in London, England, U.K. Registrants will be able to conveniently upload their documentation prior to attending the meeting. Additional information about vaccination verification, on-site safety protocols and travel tips will be posted as they become available.
